Florence T. Crowell Memorial Scholarship

The Watertown History Museum is pleased to announce the newest scholarship opportunity for high school students residing in Watertown/Oakville. The Florence T. Crowell Memorial Scholarship, named for beloved Town Historian Florence Crowell, offers one student per year a $500 scholarship towards their college pursuit of a history related degree.

To be eligible for the scholarship, the student must meet the following criteria:

  • A Watertown/Oakville resident
  • High school senior
  • College/University Program of Study in one of the following areas
    • History
    • Museum Studies
    • Anthropology
    • Archaeology

If you are a high school senior that fits the above requirements, please complete this form (including the essay) and return it to the Watertown History Museum; 401 Main St. Watertown, CT, 06795, care of Scholarship Committee. Deadline is March 15, 2024.
